Cookie policy
This website uses cookies
In compliance with Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE), we inform you that the website CALEFACCIÓN SOLAR uses cookies.
The LSSICE applies to any type of file or device downloaded onto a user's terminal equipment in order to store data that can be updated and retrieved by the entity responsible for installing it. A cookie is one of these widely used files, which we will refer to generically as cookies.
Cookies are small text files sent to a browser by a web server to record the user's activity on a website, so that this information can be retrieved later while browsing the different pages connected to the server that installed them.
Cookies usually store technical information, personal preferences, content customisation, usage statistics, links to social networks, access to user accounts, etc.
Types of cookies
Cookies are classified below according to a number of categories. Please note, however, that the same cookie may fall into more than one category.
According to the entity that manages them
- First-party cookies: cookies sent to the user's terminal equipment from a device or domain managed by the publisher itself, from which the service requested by the user is provided.
- Third-party cookies: cookies sent to the user's terminal equipment from a device or domain that is not managed by the publisher but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
Where cookies are installed from a device or domain managed by the publisher itself, but the information collected through them is managed by a third party, they are not considered first-party cookies.
According to how long they remain active
According to how long they remain active on the terminal equipment, we can distinguish between:
- Session cookies: cookies designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a web page. They are usually used to store information that only needs to be kept to provide the service requested by the user on a single occasion (e.g. a list of products purchased).
- Persistent cookies: cookies whose data remain stored on the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie, which may range from a few minutes to several years.
According to their purpose
According to the purpose for which the data obtained through cookies are processed, we can distinguish between:
- Technical cookies: cookies that allow the user to browse a website, platform or application and use the different options or services it offers, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted areas, remembering the items in an order, completing the purchase process for an order, applying to register for or take part in an event, using security features while browsing, storing content for broadcasting videos or sound, or sharing content through social networks.
- Personalisation cookies: cookies that allow the user to access the service with certain predefined general characteristics based on a series of criteria on the user's terminal, such as the language, the type of browser used to access the service, or the regional settings from which the service is accessed.
- Analytics cookies: cookies that allow the party responsible for them to monitor and analyse the behaviour of users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure activity on websites, applications or platforms and to build browsing profiles of their users, in order to make improvements based on the analysis of how users use the service.
- Advertising cookies: cookies that allow the most efficient possible management of the advertising spaces that the publisher may have included on a website, application or platform from which the requested service is provided, based on criteria such as the content published or the frequency with which ads are shown.
- Behavioural advertising cookies: cookies that allow the most efficient possible management of the advertising spaces that the publisher may have included on a website, application or platform from which the requested service is provided. These cookies store information on user behaviour obtained by continuously observing their browsing habits, which makes it possible to build a specific profile to display advertising accordingly.
